For Cuadra’s store at La Plaza Mall in McAllen, we were tasked with the renovation of an existing tenant space to accommodate the brand’s distinctive retail environment. Our approach focused on creating an intimate and sophisticated setting that complements Cuadra’s emphasis on craftsmanship, footwear, apparel, and accessories.

The interior is characterized by warm wood tones, contrasting dark finishes, dramatic lighting, and a distinctive geometric ceiling treatment that immediately establishes the character of the space. The ceiling becomes one of the store’s defining architectural elements, introducing depth and rhythm while helping organize the retail environment. Carefully coordinated lighting and circulation reinforce the warmth of the material palette and create a setting suited to Cuadra’s premium products. The completed renovation transforms the existing mall tenant space into a rich and memorable retail environment that complements Cuadra’s identity while establishing a strong presence within La Plaza Mall.
