The second phase of the Rio Bank project expands upon the original banking facility with a new community center designed to serve both Rio Bank and the surrounding Elsa community. Our goal was to create a flexible and welcoming space where the bank could host meetings, events, and community gatherings while maintaining a connection to the existing facility.

We designed the community center as a natural continuation of Phase I, carrying over the brick, clean forms, and warm material palette to bring both phases together as one complete project. The addition gives Rio Bank a space that goes beyond everyday banking, creating a place where employees, customers, and members of the community can come together while strengthening the bank’s relationship with the area it serves.
